At the end of October, Nine Orchard hotel flew me up to paint portraits of their VIP guests inside the legendary (and impossible to get into) Swan Room, accompanied by Duquette Johnston DJing the night. It was a magical experience, from gaining access to the hidden secret spaces throughout the hotel to a night of painting some of the most interesting characters, a private sitting at the top of the National Arts Club in Gramercy and ending the trip with a private masked party at an undisclosed location.
