Art Salon Experience- June Session

No matter where you are on your journey, this is an opportunity to gather with me and up to ten other artists for encouragement, inspiration, feedback and a little bit of magic that happens when people get together and get creative. 

This is not stuffy. This is not exclusionary. This is a safe container to be bold and daring by taking the first step. This might be your first step. Or your next step. 

Here are the details: 

Join me every every week from 5:30-7:30pm for a month. We are creating a container, where you make the commitment to yourself and each other to show up to this experience and see what evolves in yourself in that time. 

What are we going to do? We will start with check-ins, led by moi with a few topics of discussion. Y’all know I am the queen of vulnerable sharing, so you can count on a safe container to go deep with each other at the level of your comfort. 

Bring something you’re working on and/or have recently completed. I’m there to give guidance, feedback, walk with you and work alongside you as you navigate your journey. While there are certain to be smooth moments in your art journey, there are the inevitable blocks, fears, moments we each need another perspective to challenge us and help us shift into something new.

This is energetic support in an accessible format and a little bit of an experiment to see what happens when we gather together, get vulnerable and explore new things. 

Investment: There will be four meetings over the course of 4 weeks at an investment of $275. When you sign up, you’re committing to showing up for yourself and each other! Can’t make a meeting? My hope is that through the evolution of this series, you’ll be building a micro community of accountability. While I am unable to refund for missed gatherings, I have a feeling that the container of your peers will be there to fill you in outside of the meetings. 

Who is this for? Truly, if you have a body and a spirit, you are already an artist. Whether you’ve been making for years and want to explore sharing and seeking feedback, or maybe you’ve been wanting to dabble and don’t know where to start… no matter your age or level of skill or education, this is for YOU. Where will we meet? Meetings will happen either at my shop Club Duquette or at my home, in the studio or garden.

What to bring: A project you’re working on. If there’s something you want to share with me or the group and get feedback on or talk through. You might even just start by bringing your sketchbook. I am a firm believer that deep work starts and happens inside your sketchbook. Bring a beverage if you like.
