This triptych consists of three canvases that measure 48x60 inches each, totaling at 144” long (12 feet). I painted this piece in the days after a tornado struck our home in 2021. It was painted in collaboration with NYC based principal dancer, Claire Kendrick and Icelandic composer Olaffur Arnalds in an incubator series for Magic City Dance Company. A documentary filmmaker followed the progress of this piece for two years, a story of tragedy, grief, rebirth and the endless cycles of life to death to life.
This piece exhibits in May of 2023 alongside four other female artists in a private show at Bridgeworth Wealth Management.
